Our company hails from Maine inspired by the coastal resources and the growing need to develop marine solutions to address impacts to aquatic ecosystem health. Coastal communities worldwide are in need of innovative solutions to address a wide range of issues that adversely affect marine ecosystems. For example, water quality in many of our coastal watersheds is lower than averag.
We are currently developing field-based species DNA tests to provide rapid results using state-of-the art portable tests. On-site platforms allow managers to diagnose the presence of animal fecal DNA in surface water to better understand bacterial pollution impacts. Professional application to combat seafood fraud.
See our story. The microbial biodiversity of oceanic sediment is largely UNKNOWN. We are trying to change this fact by characterizing key ecosystems in Marine Protected Areas.
